The cut
A vest, not straps.
A classic harness concentrates all the strain on two thin straps. This model is cut like a vest: it wraps the chest in a wide area of soft velvet, and the pressure is spread out instead of being concentrated on one point.
That's what makes the difference for a cat who stiffens or lies down on the floor as soon as they feel something on them.

Starting again gently
After a refusal, we try a different way.
Many cats haven't said no to the harness: they've said no to that harness. Thin straps on short fur feel like a vice, and a cat who has felt it remembers.
The vest changes the sensation before it changes the habit. You start again with short sessions, indoors, without a lead, without a goal.
And often, the cat who refused everything accepts this one.
Why the vest cut
This harness doesn't try to hold tighter. It tries to be accepted — and that's usually what wins over a cat who refused everything.
A surface, not a pressure point
A thin strap concentrates all the tension on a narrow band of the chest. The vest cut spreads that same pressure over a wide area: it's often what separates a cat who freezes from a cat who moves forward.
Velvet before anything else
What your cat judges first is the material against their fur. Soft velvet is usually forgotten faster than a stiff strap — and a cat who forgets what they're wearing is more willing to move forward.
Six sizes, up to 3XL
S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL. The large sizes exist for the builds that standard harnesses leave out: Maine Coons, Norwegian Forest cats, heavily built cats. At last, a range that doesn't stop at L.
The right model for starting again
It's the one we recommend for a very first harness, or for starting again after a refusal. The less abrupt the first sensation, the easier the training sessions are to repeat.
Six sizes
Up to 3XL.
Most cat harnesses stop at L, and leave out Maine Coons, Norwegian Forest cats and heavily built cats.
Six sizes, from S to 3XL, in three colours. Measure your cat before choosing — the table below shows you how.

Choosing the right size
Sizes don't correspond to weight or breed. Measure your cat before ordering: it takes two minutes, and it's what spares you a return.
How to measure your cat
- Chest girth: measure the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.
- Neck girth: measure at the base of the neck, where the strap will sit.
- Note both measurements in centimetres, then compare them with the table below.
If you're between two sizes, choose the larger one — the straps allow you to adjust it.

| Size | Chest girth | Neck girth |

Here, the fit comes down to choosing the size. Measure your cat's chest girth and neck girth before ordering. If your cat is between two sizes, take the larger one: a slightly loose vest is less bothersome than one that's too tight.
Getting your cat used to it, without forcing them
A comfortable harness doesn't replace getting used to it: it makes it easier. Four steps, at their own pace.
-
Let them examine it
Put the vest where they sleep or eat, without trying to put it on them. Let them sniff it, push it, sit on it. A treat beside it, and the object stops being a threat.
-
A very short first wear
Slip it on in a quiet room, at mealtime, and take it off after a few moments — before they get annoyed, never after. Repeat every day.
-
Check the fit
You should be able to slide two fingers between the fabric and their body. If the vest twists or slips, the size is too big; if it leaves marks in the fur, go up a size.
-
Then outdoors, gently
A short first outing, somewhere quiet, and let them lead. Lengthen the walks at their own pace: they set the tempo, not the calendar.
Frequently asked questions
What people ask us about the comfort vest
My cat lies down on the floor as soon as they wear a harness. Can that really change?
That reflex often comes from a feeling of tightness: a thin band pressing on one precise point of the chest. Spreading that pressure over a wide area removes a good part of that discomfort. But let's be honest: the cut doesn't do all the work, and getting them used to it in short sessions is still essential. If after several attempts your cat still refuses, you have 30 days to send it back to us.
How do I choose between S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL?
Take two measurements before ordering: the chest girth, just behind the front legs, and the neck girth, then compare them with the size chart, from S to 3XL. If they're between two sizes, choose the larger one — a slightly loose vest is less bothersome than one that's too tight. Not sure? Send us your cat's chest girth and we'll confirm the size before dispatch. Reply within 24 h.
I have a large cat, a Maine Coon. Will it fit them?
It's precisely for them that the range goes up to 3XL. Beyond L, sizes XL, 2XL and 3XL cover the body shapes that most cat harnesses ignore. Do still take their measurements before ordering: among large builds, the difference in size from one cat to another is significant.
Is it suitable for evening outings?
This model plays the comfort and acceptance card, not the low-light visibility one. If your outings happen at dusk, look instead at the reflective harness, designed for that — it only comes in XS and S, so it's only for small builds.
Will it stop my cat from escaping?
This model is designed for comfort and acceptance, not for holding back a cat who struggles. And no harness replaces a hand on the lead and a supervised outing. If your cat is the type to try their luck, look instead at the reflective escape-proof harness — provided they're a small build, as that model only goes up to S.
And what if my cat doesn't accept it at all?
It happens, and no harness is an exception: some cats say no, whatever the cut. You have a 30-day money-back guarantee to try it at home and decide afterwards.
